The Juried Arts & Crafts Show features more than 125 exhibitors, half of them new to the Festival. Half of the exhibitors change over the course of the Festival, so visit the crafts area often. Items for sale include fine art, stained glass, jewelry, baskets, quilts, furniture, pottery, wood carving, musical instruments, and more. Stop by the Demonstration Tent each day to watch skilled artists and craftspeople at work.

Fiber arts are being re-emphasized with a Quilt Documentation, lectures, exhibitions, and workshops on weaving, quilting, stitchery, and wearables. And for the first time, there will be a Fiber Arts Merchants Mall and a Festival Quilt Raffle. All fiber events will be held at the Southwest Virginia Higher Ed. Center.

Creative Writing Days
Every year the Festival sponsors one of the most prestigious literary contests in the nation. Winners are honored on Creative Writing Day, an event filled with lectures, readings, and book signings. This year's guests are poet Jon Davis, fiction writer Daniel Wallace, and Algonquin Books' editor Kathy Pories. On subsequent days, writers can participate in writing workshops – this year led by Jon Davis and Daniel Wallace.
